Hello!

I am a fourth year PhD student in the Department of Political Science at Michigan State University, focusing on public policy and education. I am also a MITTENSS fellow in the College of Education at MSU.

My research interests center around the intersection of infrastructure disparities and their influence on education and public policy through the lenses of race, ethnicity, class, and gender. I pay particular attention to colonias in my home state of Texas, where neighborhood inequities have contributed to the challenges and obstacles residents face in their day-to-day lives.

In my free time I like to cook and recently picked up crochet. I’m also an avid concert goer and always have music going in the background.
