Hello!

I am a fifth year PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science at Michigan State University, focusing on public policy and education. I was also a MITTENSS fellow in the College of Education at MSU from 2022-2025.

My research interests center around the intersection of infrastructure disparities and their influence on education and public policy through the lenses of race, ethnicity, class, and gender. I pay particular attention to colonias in my home state of Texas, where neighborhood inequities have contributed to the challenges and obstacles residents face in their day-to-day lives.

In my free time I like to cook and recently picked up crochet. I’m also an avid concert goer and always have music going in the background.
